On January 30, according to foreign media reports, after nearly two years of construction, the Berlin Super Factory and Texas Super Factory that Tesla decided to build in 2019 and 2020 were put into production last year, holding a grand opening ceremony on March 22 and April 7 respectively, and the Model Y was immediately delivered to users.

Like Tesla's other two full-car factories that have already been put into production, the Berlin and Texas superfactories have been increasing their production capacity since they were put into production, with a weekly output of more than 3000 vehicles.

Tesla disclosed last week that the weekly production of the two superfactories Model Y had exceeded 3000 vehicles in the fourth quarter of last year. They said in the financial report that the Model Y production line of the two factories produced more than 3000 vehicles in one week at the end of the fourth quarter.

The weekly production of more than 3000 vehicles means an increase in the overall production capacity of the Berlin super-factory and the Texas super-factory, both of which have an annual production capacity of more than 250000 vehicles, they also disclosed in their financial reports.

The increase in production of Tesla's new vehicle plants, the Berlin Super Factory and the Texas Super Factory Model Y, will also enhance their ability to meet the needs of consumers in Europe and North America and increase their overall production.

Tesla currently has four passenger car factories, the Fremont plant in California and the Shanghai super factory are still increasing capacity, coupled with the continued increase in production from the Berlin super factory and the Texas super factory. Their production and delivery volume will also continue to increase this year, and they still plan to increase production as soon as possible in line with the 50 per cent compound annual growth forecast given in early 2021.
