CTOnews.com has learned that it is reported that Area 120, Google's incubator for creative experiments, has been almost disbanded because of layoffs. The department was reduced to three core projects and almost all other employees were laid off, according to Bloomberg. The remaining three projects will "graduate" this year, which could mean that Area 120 will be closed.
