Hainan commercial launch site is the first commercial space launch site in China, which was built by Hainan International Commercial Space launch Co., Ltd., committed to building an international first-class, market-oriented space launch site, and further enhance China's civil and commercial carrier rocket launch capability.

The Hainan commercial space launch site is located in the area around the Wenchang launch site, including the technical area and launch area of the Hainan commercial space launch site, with a total area of 133.33 hectares. The launch site has been under construction since July 2022, with a construction period of 19 months, and is expected to achieve normal launch in 2024.
