CTOnews.com, January 29, Strategy Analytics released a report today that ultra-high-end smartphones (wholesale prices of more than $600, or about 4062 yuan) accounted for more than half of Q3 smartphone revenue in 2022, slightly higher than the previous quarter.

In addition to the mid-range prices of $100,190 (wholesale, about RMB 677-1286), the price ranges of $191,299 (RMB 1293-2024) and $300,399 (RMB 2031-2701) are important sources of income, accounting for 20% of Q3 smartphone revenue.

CTOnews.com learned that according to a recent study by TechhInsights smartphone Model tracking (SMT), nine of the top 25 smartphone models fall into these two price ranges ($191-$299, $300-$399). There are also fewer competing models in these two price ranges than in the crowded $100-190 price range.

Globally, these phone models rank between 11th and 26th in terms of revenue, with a revenue share of 0.4% to 1.4%. Considering that almost all other models in the top 25 come from high-end prices, this is an impressive achievement. This shows that in addition to flagship and ultra-high-end equipment, there are many other revenue opportunities that other manufacturers can give priority.
