CTOnews.com, January 28, VAIO launched a new SX12 / SX14 lightweight version last year in China, with 12 generations of Core, priced from 9688 yuan. Now, VAIO Japan has released a crimson version of the laptop (Fine Red), which is only available in Japan for the time being.

CTOnews.com learned that the SX12 small screen laptop is as thin as 15mm, weighs as little as 961g, and has a 12.5inch 1080p screen. In terms of configuration, the laptop comes with 12-generation Core P-Series processors and is available in i7-1280p, 32GB LPDDR4X memory and 2TB SSD. The laptop interface includes two Lightning 4s, two USB 3.0s, Gigabit Ethernet ports, HDMI and 3.5mm headset ports.

The SX14 lightweight version comes with 12 generations of Core P series processors, optional i7-1260p, with LPDDR4X memory, and optional 1TB SSD. In terms of screen, the laptop has a 14-inch full HD screen and an optional 4K screen. In terms of interface, the laptop is equipped with two Lightning 4 ports, two USB 3.0ports, Gigabit Ethernet ports, HDMI and 3.5mm headset ports.

Currently, the i5-1240p version of VAIO SX14, JD.com, sells for 9569 yuan.
