In other ways, the Sharp / NEC PV800UL laser projector is compatible with a variety of lenses, including the previous generation of PA mechanical lenses and the latest PV laser lenses. The fuselage has HDBaseT, HDMI and USB-A ports. In addition, the noise level of the equipment is very low, producing only 33 decibels of noise during operation.

The Sharp / NEC PV800UL laser projector measures 407x499x164mm and weighs 11.2kg (~ 24.7lb). Sharp / NEC said the projector would be suitable for educational, leisure and hotel environments.
