CTOnews.com news on January 27, according to OC3D news, the pirate ship's first PCIe 5.0 SSD MP700 will be launched soon.

From the preview diagram, MP700 adopts the design of active heat dissipation, with large-scale heat sink and small fan built in.

According to the official news from the Pirate ship, MP700 PCIe 5.0 SSD has a sequential read speed of 10000MB/s and a sequential write speed of 9500MB/s, which is higher than its flagship PCIe 4.0 SSD MP600 PRO XT.

The SSD uses 3D TLC NAND and will support NVMe 2.0M.2, AM5 motherboards for AMD and Intel 600s and 700s.

CTOnews.com learned that AMD initially said PCIe 5.0 SSD went on sale in November last year, but so far there has been no large number of products on the market.
