According to reports, DRIVE PILOT is now the only SAE 3-level auxiliary driving system among certified mass-production electric vehicles, and Mercedes hopes to further expand its territory this year.

Markus Sch ä fer, a member of Mercedes's board of directors, said: "DRIVE PILOT proves once again that our pioneering spirit is part of our DNA. Nevada's certification marks the beginning of its international promotion and opens a new era."

Mercedes-Benz will apply Drive Pilot driver assistance in S-Class and EQS models and deliver the first models to customers in the second half of 2023. At the same time, Mercedes-Benz hopes to expand its use to California and other places as soon as possible, after Mercedes-Benz has provided certification documents to the state.
