According to the latest news obtained by the foreign media BleepingComputer, after the extortion was rejected, the hackers put the source code of the "League of Legends" game on the forum for auction, of which the "League of Legends" source code and the anti-cheating platform sold for $1 million (currently about 6.78 million yuan), and the anti-cheating platform auctioned separately for $500000 (currently about 3.39 million yuan).

Forum posts include a link to a thousand pages of PDF documents that they claim contain a directory listing of 72.4 GB stolen source code. BleepingComputer reviewed the document and appeared to be a list of source code for software related to fist games.

In addition, CTOnews.com learned that in a conversation with the security research group VX-Underground, the hackers said they had gained access to the fist game network by conducting a social engineering attack on an employee of the game via text message.

The hackers claimed that they visited the development network of the game for 36 hours until it was detected by the company's Security Operations Center (SOC). In addition, their goal is to steal the source code of Riot Vanguard, the company's anti-cheating software.
