CTOnews.com January 26, Microsoft released Edge browser Dev version 111.0.1633.0, which includes a new feature on Android as well as various improvements and fixes. If you have Edge Dev installed on your Android phone, you can now press the new tab to enter the wallpaper center.

New feature Android:

Long press the new tab to now enter the wallpaper center.

Reliability improvements fixed browser crashes associated with searching the sidebar.

Fixed browser crash related to search in mini menu.

Fixed browser crash on older Windows 10 when trying to use the camera.

Fixed browser crash when moving tabs to a separate window.

Fixed an issue where the browser crashed when dragging a tab out of a tab group.

Android:

Fixed browser crash associated with reading aloud.

WebView2:

Fixed crash issues related to Sandbox.

Other changes fix links from PWA, so they don't open in Workspace.

Fixed an issue where the sidebar could not add the current page in some scenarios.

Fixed duplicate MSA login issues.

Fixed an issue that could not print on a printer whose name contains a Japanese string.

Fixed an issue where discovering and searching for exit applications in the sidebar context menu did not work.

MacOS:

Fixed an issue where the external link setting of the default workspace caused the external link to open in a window that was not the last active window.

IOS:

Fixed PDF scaling issue.

Fixed repeated quick links.

Fixed recovery prompt if there was no crash.

Fixed multi-page PDF displaying different pages of PDF when switching from portrait to landscape, and vice versa.

Android:

Fixed repeated quick links.

Xbox:

Fixed a damaged video playback issue.

WebView2:

Pre-connect search is disabled to stop the SSL connection when the about:blank page is opened.

Fixed an issue where the open file dialog box did not open.

Fixed an issue where reinstallation failed while WebView2 was running.

Enterprise:

Fixed an issue where hot site data was not purged after identity change on iOS.

Microsoft Edge Dev supports running on Windows, macOS and Linux, Android. The iOS platform requires invitations to test Edge Dev, and the plan is full.

According to the official release schedule, Microsoft plans to release Edge 110Beta in the week of February 14, 2023 and the official stable version of Edge 111in the week of March 9, 2023.
