CTOnews.com, January 26 (Xinhua)-- Lenovo has launched its latest Chromebook laptop for the education market, from the entry-level Lenovo 100e Chromebook Gen 4 with MediaTek Kompanio 520processor and 11.6inch HD display to the higher-end model of Lenovo 500e Yoga Chromebook Gen 4, which features a 12.2inch FHD screen, Intel Alder Lake-N processor and support for stylus and touch input.

Lenovo 500e Yoga Chromebook Lenovo also has a new 14-inch Lenovo 14e Chromebook Gen 2, one of the first laptops to support 15W Intel Core i3-N305 eight-core processors. Lenovo said it would start offering four new educational Chromebook in the first quarter of 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that all Lenovo's new laptops support WiFi 6 connectivity, and some models also support WiFi 6e or 4G LTE. They all have webcams with privacy blinds, and the Yoga brand model with 360-degree hinges also offers an optional 5MP "world-facing" camera above the keyboard, allowing students to take photos or videos while the screen is flipped in tablet mode.

These ChromeBook use 4GB or 8GB LPDDR4x memory, 32GB or 64GB eMMC storage, or up to 8GB LPDDR5 memory, 128GB eMMC storage.

Lenovo's new Chromebook is designed for classroom use, but the ChromeOS laptops are also expected to be launched for the retail market.
