CTOnews.com, January 23 (Xinhua)-- Google has developed a general spatial audio framework for Android 13 that can be used by all smartphone and headphone manufacturers. One plus Buds Pro 2 is one of the first true wireless headphones to support the framework, which went on sale in China earlier this month and will be launched worldwide with the new one plus 11 series flagship phones on February 7.

CTOnews.com learned that spatial audio uses head tracking built into headphones to simulate immersive multi-channel audio. One plus Buds Pro 2 will be one of the first TWS headphones "using the iconic spatial audio feature developed by Google for Android 13," Yiga said in a press release. To bring this feature to users, Yiga worked with Google to optimize the spatial audio of Buds Pro 2 to simulate the immersive multidimensional experience in cinemas.

One plus Buds Pro 2 will use IMU sensors and spatial rendering algorithms to achieve this function, and according to official details, the headset will be equipped with six-axis motion sensors for head tracking support.

In addition to spatial audio, one plus Buds Pro 2 will also provide fast pairing support, allowing users to seamlessly pair headphones with compatible devices with a single click. The headset will also support Android audio switching, allowing users to connect headphones to two devices at the same time and switch between connected devices according to their operation.
