CTOnews.com January 23 news, Firefox browser Firefox 109 stable version has been released a few days ago, the development team's current focus has shifted to the next version. One of the improvements to Firefox 110 for Linux is support for importing data from Opera and Vivaldi.

CTOnews.com has learned that Firefox for Linux currently only supports Chrome and Chromium. In version 110, users can import data from Opera and Vivaldi more easily.

In Firefox 110 on Linux, importing data from other browsers requires going to the main menu and visiting the bookmarks page. Click Organizer Bookmarks (or Open via Ctrl+Shift+O shortcut) and click Import and Backup> Import Data from Another Browser.

One problem, however, is that users need to install Opera or Vivaldi web browsers on GNU / Linux distributions using the distribution's native package (RPM or DEB). Firefox 110 cannot detect these Web browsers from sandbox installations such as Flatpak or AppImage.
