CTOnews.com, January 23, Tesla's first charging post compatible with the Joint charging system (CCS) is about to open, which may be called Magic Docks after its launch. The Hawthorne station near Tesla Design Studio in California is expected to be the first charging site to be installed. This means that non-Tesla owners can also go to these outlets to recharge.

CTOnews.com learned that Tesla announced in November last year that Tesla electric vehicle charging connector design would be open to the world, and invited charging network operators and automobile manufacturers to use Tesla charging connector and charging interface on their charging equipment and vehicles, which we call the North American charging Standard (NACS).

NACS is the most common charging standard in North America: the number of vehicles using the NACS standard is twice as many as the number of vehicles using the CCS standard, and the number of posts using the NACS standard in Tesla's supercharging network is 60 per cent more than all the charging piles using the CCS standard combined.
