Wojciechowski tweets the eight performance cores in "Hamoa", each with a clock rate of 3.4GHz, while each of the four efficiency cores has a clock rate of 2.5GHz, a difference of 900MHz.

Wojciechowski also said that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4 borrows from Adreno 740GPU of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and will support DirectX 12, OpenCL / DirectML and Vulkan 1.3 libraries.

Stand-alone GPU is even supported through PCIe 4.0.

The GPU will be able to drive two 4K monitors and one 5K monitor at the same time for a total of three monitors.

The chip also supports 4K / 120 FPS decoding and 4K / 60 FPS encoding using AV1 codecs.

NPU:

In addition, Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4 will include a more powerful Hexagon Tensor NPU that provides theoretical AI performance of up to 45 TOPS.

Qualcomm will support NVMe, UFS 4.0, Thunderbolt 4 connections and DisplayPort 1.4a. The chip supports Wi-Fi 7 and the communication module is X65.
