CTOnews.com January 22, Sharp / NEC announced that the P627UL laser projector will be launched at ISE 2023. The company will unveil the projector when the event will be held in Barcelona from January 31 to February 3.

The device uses a laser light source and provides a brightness of up to 6200 ANSI lumens, providing a comfortable viewing experience even during the day. The projector has a projection ratio of 1.23 to 2:1 and can project images up to 300 inches wide.

Because the LCD light source and filter are stored in a sealed place, the service life of P627UL is expected to exceed 20000 hours. The device supports WUXGA 1920 x 1200 px resolution and 4K @ 30 Hz input processing.

CTOnews.com learned from the official announcement that it is one of the quietest devices of its kind, generating 22 decibels of operating noise when operating in ecological mode. In addition, the device has the lowest power consumption, with a power of 318 watts in normal mode.

You can physically connect to the device through Wi-Fi, screen sharing tools, and HDMI, HDBaseT, and USB-A. The projector weighs 9.7 kilograms and measures 480 x 122 x 407 mm (18.9 x 4.8 x 16.0 inches). It is not clear how much the P627UL laser projector will cost.
