CTOnews.com, January 22, news that the first-person shooter heart of the atom (Atomic Heart) will be launched on Xbox Game Pass in February this year. Atomic Heart is an action role-playing game developed by Mundfish and to be released by Focus Entertainment and 4Divinity.

Microsoft Xbox Game Pass has established a clear distribution model over the past few years, usually launching new games every few weeks or so. However, Microsoft has greatly changed this model in 2023, and the result has puzzled many Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft did not announce a new Xbox Game Pass game in January, but chose to launch the game directly on the service. At the same time, subscribers will receive push notifications about new Xbox Game Pass games that have not been actually added.

Microsoft then released a short blog post highlighting the new Xbox Game Pass game that was added this week, but it has yet to focus on the second half of January 2023.

Not only do Xbox Game Pass subscribers know nothing about their expectations for the service in the second half of January 2023, but they also know nothing about the content of the store next month. Typically, previous release date announcements will alert Xbox Game Pass subscribers to the various games they can get from the service. So far, Heart of the Atom is the only game confirmed for release in February 2023.
