According to the Metal score on the GeekBench running library, M2 Pro has 19 GPU cores; M2 Max has 38 GPU cores, with a 30% improvement in graphics performance compared to M1 Pro and M1 Max.

According to the latest Metal score test results, Apple's high-end M1 Ultra chip for the Mac Studio last year still has the strongest graphics performance, still 9% higher than the M2 Max.
