CTOnews.com, January 20 (Xinhua)-- Nintendo has informed suppliers and assembly partners that it plans to increase Switch production from early April in preparation for the May release of the Legend of Zelda: tears of the Kingdom, according to Bloomberg.

It is reported that the solution to the component shortage also contributed to the increase in production, which eventually enabled Nintendo to overcome supply constraints and produce game consoles that meet market demand.

CTOnews.com learned that Nintendo announced last September that tears of the Legend Kingdom of Zelda will be released on May 12, 2023. The book is an official sequel to Nintendo's well-known open world game, Legend of Zelda: the breath of the Wilderness, which was first officially released in 2019.
