According to the report, the proportion of OLED smartphone sales in the Chinese market may rise to 57% in 2022, up 5% from the same period last year, of which flexible OLED smartphone sales accounted for 43%, up 8% from the same period last year, continuing to capture the share of other display technologies. Total OLED smartphone sales in the Chinese market fell 11% in 2022 compared with the same period last year.

CTOnews.com learned that CINNO said that screen smartphones with high refresh rates have become mainstream. In 2022, the 60Hz screen refresh rate of a-Si LCD smartphones in China is still the mainstream; the 90Hz + screen refresh rate of LTPS LCD smartphones accounts for 56%, and the proportion of 90Hz + screen refresh rate increased to 60% in the second half of the year, of which the proportion of 120Hz + screen refresh rate increased to 28%.

In addition, sales of rigid OLED smartphones 90Hz + screen refresh rate accounted for 80%, of which 120Hz + screen refresh rate accounted for 40%; flexible OLED smartphone 120Hz + screen refresh rate accounted for 69%, of which 120Hz adaptive refresh rate accounted for 24%, which was significantly higher than that of the same period last year.

In terms of price, the sales of products worth more than 15000 yuan in China's folding mobile phone market accounted for 21% in 2022, down 41% from the same period last year; the proportion of sales in the price range of 10000-14999 yuan dropped to 10% from 20% in the same period last year, accounting for a sharp increase of 51%, reaching 69%.
