CTOnews.com, January 20 (Xinhua)-- Baidu's self-driving travel service platform "radish fast run" recently opened a commercial pilot in Pingshan District, Shenzhen City, offering paid autopilot travel services to the public.

The ▲ map is from Baidu Apollo. By the end of 2022, Shenzhen has cumulatively opened intelligent network connected car test road mileage of about 201.37 km (Pingshan District is open all over the world), and issued 222test demonstration notices to Baidu and other self-driving leaders.

At present, "Radish run" has launched a commercial self-driving travel service in Shenzhen's Pingshan District. Users can call a taxi with one click of "Radish run" App or Mini Program. The route covers core areas such as Pingshan Innovation Plaza, Longping Tianhong and SMIC. In the future, the operation route of "radish fast run" will continue to expand.

CTOnews.com learned that Baidu Apollo said that the total mileage of the test so far has exceeded 45 million kilometers and has 3477 self-driving patents, ranking first in the world for four consecutive years. The fully unmanned self-driving fleet of radish fast has entered Wuhan, Beijing and Chongqing, and is the first enterprise to carry out self-driving operation and testing in many cities across the country.

Baidu Apollo data show that by the end of the third quarter, the cumulative order volume of radish fast running has exceeded 1.4 million, making it the world's largest self-driving travel service. In 2023, Baidu Radish Express will expand its business scale and launch fully self-driving operation zones in more areas.
