Based on tests in Latin America, Netflix said he expected an "unsubscription response" in every market where paid sharing was introduced, but expected overall income to improve as "renters" activate separate accounts and add additional member accounts. According to Netflix, an estimated 222 million paying households share passwords with another 100 million paying households.

CTOnews.com has learned that Netflix will require fees to be paid by people who share accounts with others outside the family. Additional payments have been launched in some Latin American countries, and Netflix charges an additional fee of approximately $3 (currently about 20 yuan) for additional non-home users. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal in December, the monthly fee for Netflix account sharing in the United States may be just under $6.99 (currently about 47 yuan).

Netflix plans to implement password sharing rules through IP addresses, device ID, and account activity.

Netflix's terms of service have never been shared by multiple households, but Netflix has acquiesced in this practice for such a long time that charging for access to friends and family accounts may make some subscribers uneasy.

Netflix's planned pricing includes watching on multiple supported devices in addition to affecting the quality of streaming, but Netflix doesn't want multiple viewers to use the same account unless they live together. For example, Netflix's advanced plan allows UHD 4K streaming and supports simultaneous viewing on four supported devices, including iPhone, iPad and Mac, but in the future, access will be limited to people in the same home.
