CTOnews.com, January 20 (Xinhua)-- Apple launched iCloud end-to-end encryption in the United States in December last year-Advanced data Protection (Advanced Data Protection). Apple said in its recently updated official support document that after turning on advanced data protection, users who have not yet upgraded to version 16.2 and later of HomePod may not be able to set / update. Two solutions are also provided in the support documentation.

The document was first discovered by Mark Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, in which Apple details the solution that users encounter "unable to set and update HomePod after enabling advanced data protection features."
