China Radio and Television has obtained major policy support such as the national cultural network, 5G audio-visual integration service platform and fixed communication business license, and launched new products such as intelligent recommendation service, 5G channel, "Live China", Guangming Cinema and so on.

The meeting demanded that in 2023, the national radio and television network industry should do 10 practical things solidly: the first is to stabilize the total number of cable TV users and expand the scale of radio and television 5G users; the second is to stabilize the cable TV revenue level and enhance the radio and television 5G revenue capacity; the third is to improve the "cable + 5G" network to enhance the carrying capacity of the radio and television network; the fourth is to open up new communication channels to create the advantage of content characteristics. Fifth, polish the national private network business card and vigorously develop vertical industry applications; sixth, steadily promote network integration and consolidate the achievements of national one-network integration; seventh, strengthen the scientific management and control of subsidiaries and improve the modern corporate governance system; eighth, carefully organize thematic publicity, high-quality completion of security broadcast tasks; ninth, do a good job in radio and television public services, highlight the social responsibility of radio and television networks; tenth, improve the innovation system and build an innovation ecology.

CTOnews.com learned that the White Paper on China Radio and Television 5G Mobile phone products (2023 Edition) pointed out that in 2022, China Radio and Television completed 5G network construction, comprehensively launched 5G network services, actively deepened strategic cooperation with China Mobile on "co-construction, sharing and win-win", and actively promoted industrial cooperation with China Telecom and China Unicom. The total number of 4G and 5G base stations actually available in China has reached 3.6 million. In 2023, we will continue to focus on promoting cooperation in the terminal and chip industries, expand and optimize radio and television 5G terminal services, and enhance users' network experience with terminal development.
