CTOnews.com, January 19, Apple released 2023 Mac Mini models this week, upgrading processors from M1 to M2 and M2 Pro. At present, the new Mac mini is available in Geekbench, with a significant improvement over the previous generation of Mac mini and previous M1 Pro and M1 Max devices.

CTOnews.com learned that Geekbench running scores showed that Mac mini equipped with M2 Pro and 16GB unified memory scored 1952 for single core and 15013 for multi-core memory. This is also the first Geekbench score for Apple's M2 Pro chip.

For comparison, the previous M1 Mac mini score was 1651 for single core and 5181 for multi-core (Apple M1 was about 1700 for single core and 7000 for multi-core). The M1 Pro score in the previous generation of 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro was 1734 in single core and 10076 in multicore.

In addition, the score of M1 Max was 1727 for single core and 12643 for multi-core. This also means that M2 Pro surpasses M1 Max in terms of Geekbench running points.
