CTOnews.com, January 19, last April, Samsung released the mobile solid state drive T7 Shield, which is available only in 1TB and 2TB versions. Recently, Samsung launched the 4TB version of the T7 Shield mobile solid state drive in Germany.

Samsung T7 Shield will offer three types of storage capacity in Germany: 1TB, 2TB and 4TB, priced at:

The 1TB version is 134.9 euros (currently about 986 yuan, Bank of China's initial price is 899 yuan, current price is 719 yuan)

2TB version is 219.9 euros (currently about 1607 yuan, Bank of China's initial price is 1799 yuan, current price is 1299 yuan)

4TB version is 429.9 euros (currently about 3143 yuan, the national price is unknown)

Samsung T7 Shield claims to be able to withstand drop shocks of up to 3 meters and is certified for dustproof and waterproof at the IP65 level. Despite the new durable design, the T7 Shield is still small and lightweight, weighing only about 98g.

The T7 Shield has a read speed of 1050MB/s and a write speed of 1000MB/s, which is currently Samsung's highest transfer speed based on the USB 3.2 Gen2 standard. This is about twice as fast as its Samsung T5 and 9.5 times faster than Samsung's external mechanical hard drive HX-MTD10EA.

Samsung has also optimized the interior and exterior of the product to avoid performance degradation and overheating problems when transferring large files by changing surface materials and improving T7 Shield software. As a result of this improvement, stable performance can be maintained even if 2TB files are transferred at once.
