The actual product map CTOnews.com has learned that the color gamut refers to the spatial range of colors, and the wider the color gamut means, the brighter the color gamut is, the more accurately it can represent and restore the color and details. In order to characterize and describe the color gamut, some international organizations and companies have launched various color gamut standards, such as sRGB, Adobe RGB, NTSC, DCI-P3 and so on. SRGB is the default color space supported by current Windows systems and many native software; Adobe RGB includes both sRGB and CMYK (a color mode in color printing, which uses the principle of three primary colors mixed with black to form "full-color printing"), which not only supports normal computer display and editing, but also supports printing lossless and correct photos, while NTSC is more suitable for color standards in the TV industry. DCI-P3 is mostly used in digital cinemas and matches the color gamut that can be displayed in the movie picture as much as possible. Therefore, in a variety of scenarios of information transmission, the color gamut is particularly important.

Take the mainstream 14inch NB products as an example, at present, the major display companies in the market have launched products that meet more than 74% of the color gamut of DCI-P3 & Adobe RGB, and some enterprises have achieved 83% of the specification. Products that meet Adobe RGB 100% are also rare on the market. The realization of "double hundred" gamut is mainly by filling the color gamut space outside the intersection of DCI-P3 100% and Adobe RGB 100% to meet two specifications at the same time under the same gamut specification.

According to reports, the Blue coordinates of DCI-P3 100% & Adobe RGB100% basically coincide, but there are differences in their Red and Green, resulting in only 88% overlap of their color gamut space. The R & D team optimizes the color points through reasonable color resistance selection and film thickness adjustment, and finally achieves the overall color gamut space covering DCI-P3 100% & Adobe RGB100% specifications, achieving "double hundred".
