During this period, mainly driven by metacosmos-related applications, 5G network demand is further stimulated.

According to the report, 5G applications are mainly divided into industrial manufacturing, energy and equipment, medical, smart vehicles, public transport and consumer electronics. Based on the output value of US $37 billion in 2026, industrial manufacturing accounted for 32% of the total application output value, medical applications accounted for 15%, intelligent vehicles and public transport accounted for 25% of the total output value, and consumer electronics accounted for 10%.

CTOnews.com learned that TrendForce Ji Bang Consulting said that at present, metacosmos is an emerging application service, and manufacturers are still in the exploratory stage. In addition, technologies such as AR / VR and sensing operation also need time to develop. Metacosmos-related application needs need at least 2-3 years of gestation, and the development focus is still focused on community, multiplayer games, education, simulation training, co-construction collaboration, virtual meetings, and so on.

In addition, the report said that from the layout of global telecom operators and Netcom equipment manufacturers, Nokia (Nokia), Ericsson (Ericsson) and Huawei (Huawei) have been investing in the development of resources in the network environment and Netcom equipment optimization.
