Zhang Yongjun, director of the Network Comprehensive Management Bureau of the Central Internet Information Office, said earlier that the "Qinglang" campaign had achieved remarkable results, cleaning up more than 22 million pieces of illegal information in 2021, removing 2160 Mini Program applications and shutting down more than 3200 websites. In the process of network ecological governance, many website platforms also actively cooperate, act actively and make continuous efforts to promote the sustainable improvement of the network ecology.

Since the launch of the "Qinglang" series of special operations, as of August 2022, the Central Internet Information Office has carried out more than 30 special crackdowns on outstanding problems such as chaos in the food circle, Internet accounts, and cyber violence, cleaning up more than 20 billion pieces of illegal and bad information, and nearly 1.4 billion accounts.
