CTOnews.com January 18 news, "Deep Sea Warrior" / "Endeavor" manned submersible user scientific steering committee meeting was held in Shanghai yesterday. Data show that Deep Sea Warriors and Endeavour manned submersibles completed a total of 175 submersibles in 2022.

The manned submersible "Endeavour" has been operating at sea for a total of 202 days, with a total of 75 dives completed, with an average scientific depth of 5912.8 meters and 4 new 10,000-meter dives.

CTOnews.com learned that in June 2020, China's 10,000-meter manned submersible was officially named "Endeavour". On November 10 of the same year, the Endeavour successfully sat at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, with a depth of 10909 meters.

In September 2022, the Endeavor and the Deep Sea Warrior completed their mission at a depth of 1500 meters in the South China Sea. This is the first time that two manned submersibles have been put into joint operation in our country, and the tasks such as underwater real-time positioning, voice communication, target search and recovery, rapid maneuver and cooperative operation have been completed.
