Tesla sold 69962 pure electric vehicles in Germany in 2022, while its nearest rival, Volkswagen, sold 63206 electric vehicles, according to KBA, the German vehicle registration agency.

According to KBA, the top three cars sold in Germany in December 2022 were Tesla Model 3, Fiat 500 and Tesla Model Y.
