Since then, the Institute has successively broken through key technologies such as 100-ampere high-current cathode technology, discharge chamber magnetic field "magnetic shielding" technology, space power application technology based on new power devices, ultra-high-power high-efficiency conversion technology, wide-range power and voltage regulation, etc., and completed the first joint test ignition of 100-kilowatt Hall thruster and high-power PPU prototype. Under the stable output condition of 50kW power of a single PPU prototype, the thrust reached 2.1N. The measured index of specific impulse 2980s has reached the leading level in China, realizing the technical breakthrough of the high-power Hall electric propulsion system of our institute and achieving important phased achievements.
