In the battery, sulfur gradually transfers ions from anode to cathode under the action of reduction reaction, while lithium sulfide is converted into sulfur by reduction reaction when charging.

Of course, this kind of battery also has some shortcomings. at present, it is mainly due to the decline of life during repeated charge and discharge. after all, sulfur itself has low conductivity and low energy transfer efficiency, so it is necessary to increase the amount of electrolyte.
