CTOnews.com, January 17, Apple officially launched a new generation of MacBook Pro 14 and 16-inch models tonight, starting at 15999 yuan.

There are many significant changes in the new MacBook Pro model, such as M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, maximum 96GB memory, and HDMI and Wi-Fi 6e. In addition, the 2023 Apple MacBook Pro has one unbelievable small detail-the MagSafe charging line.

In fact, Apple didn't use the MagSafe charging port on the MacBook until 2016, and has since switched to the USB-C port. However, when Apple launched the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro series in 2021, it brought back the MagSafe magnetic charging port again.

But Apple missed one detail: no matter which MacBook Pro you choose, there is only a white MagSafe charging cord. Although this is not a big problem, but it is not beautiful, simply against the ancestral motto, but also caused users to complain.

However, Apple solved this problem when it released the M2 MacBook Air last year, and provided users with MagSafe charging lines that match the color of their computers.

With the advent of today's 2023 MacBook Pro, Apple has also provided a corresponding color MagSafe charging cord for the MacBook Pro series. Therefore, if you choose to buy a dark gray MacBook Pro, you will get a deep space gray cable, while if you buy a silver version, you will get a silver data cable.

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro and 16-inch MacBook Pro will be ordered at 9: 00 a.m. on January 19 and will go on sale on February 3.

There are three benchmark configuration options for the new 14-inch MacBook Pro on Apple's website:

M2 Pro (10-core CPU, 16-core GPU), 16GB unified memory + 512GB solid state disk 15999 CNY

M2 Pro (12-core CPU, 19-core GPU), 16GB unified memory + 1TB solid state disk 19999 CNY

M2 Max (12-core CPU, 30-core GPU), 32GB unified memory + 1TB solid state disk 24999 CNY

The 16-inch MacBook Pro also has three benchmark configuration options:

M2 Pro (12-core CPU, 19-core GPU) 16GB unified memory + 512GB solid state disk 19999 yuan

M2 Pro (12-core CPU, 19-core GPU), 16GB unified memory + 1TB solid state disk 21499 CNY

M2 Max (12-core CPU, 38-core GPU), 32GB unified memory + 1TB solid state disk 27499 CNY
