(hereinafter referred to as "China soft International") and Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shen Kaihong") has been officially published by Beijing Institute of Technology Publishing House.

As the textbook of the 14th five-year Plan of Beijing Institute of Technology, this book systematically introduces the underlying principle, system architecture and application development of OpenAtom OpenHarmony (hereinafter referred to as "OpenHarmony") open source operating system, which fills the gap in the teaching material system of colleges and universities.

CTOnews.com learned that OpenHarmony is an open source project incubated and operated by the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation (OpenAtom Foundation). The goal is to build a framework and platform for an intelligent terminal device operating system in a full-scene, fully connected, fully intelligent era and based on open source.

In order to meet the needs of personnel training in the field of OpenHarmony, the School of computer Science and Technology of Beijing Institute of Technology and the School of Information Technology Innovation have jointly compiled the book "OpenHarmony operating system" with China soft International and Shenkaihong, the major members of the OpenHarmony open source project, which provides systematic teaching materials and books for the vast number of students and developers to learn and master the theoretical basis and R & D skills of the new generation of operating systems.

As a textbook for Beijing Institute of Technology's 14th five-year Plan, this book is jointly edited by Ding Gangyi, secretary of the party committee of the computer College and dean of the Special soft College, Wu Changgao, dean of the School of Information Technology Innovation, and experts from Shen Kaihong. Dr. Chen Yuhong, Chairman of China soft International Board and Chairman of Shen Kaihong, and Dr. Wang Chenglu, CEO of Shen Kaihong, write the preface to this book. BA Yanxing, a senior OS framework development engineer of Shen Kaihong, and Jiang Weifeng, an OS core development engineer, led more than a dozen technical experts, together with Professor Huang Tianyu, Associate Professor Ma Rui, and teacher Cai Yanbin of the Beijing Institute of Technology, which lasted nearly a year and was carefully built. Professor Xue Jingfeng, associate dean of the School of computer Science, also provided important guidance and help to the compilation of this book.

OpenHarmony operating system can be used as a professional textbook for undergraduates and postgraduates majoring in computer software in colleges and universities, and it can also be used as a technical reference book for program developers.

This book is mainly divided into three parts:

The first part (chapter one) introduces the background, positioning and technical advantages of OpenHarmony operating system.

The second part (chapter 2 to chapter 10) introduces the southbound technology of OpenHarmony operating system in detail, including kernel subsystem, driver subsystem, distributed subsystem, UI framework, Ability framework, graphics subsystem, short distance communication subsystem and sensor subsystem.

The third part (Chapter 11) introduces the methods and practical cases of northward application development.
