Now the new BIOS based on 1.0.0.4 program has been launched, and the BETA version will be provided for the first time. After testing and using normally, a formal version of the program will be available for download. This version mainly optimizes some details and supports Ruilong 7600, 7700 and 7900 processors. In addition, MSI has three unique features to help users overclock their systems, namely adaptive dual-mode overclocking, PBO temperature walls and TDP configuration presets.

Earlier, MSI introduced a new feature in MSI BIOS called adaptive dual-mode overclocking, which provides three levels of preset and advanced options for users to choose from. It then combines AMD's default PBO "Precision Boost Overdrive" with MSI's OC settings to provide higher CPU performance in both single and multicore cores.

The next feature is called PBO temperature Wall, and MSI has several built-in PBO temperature profiles, namely 85 ℃, 75 ℃, and 65 ℃, which will allow the highest CPU temperature to operate at this temperature. At the same time, through these profile settings, CPU will also be able to operate at a lower voltage to stay within the temperature limit and lower the CPU temperature.

The last feature is the TDP configuration preset. It is a very friendly feature for those who are not familiar with CPU overclocking. A MSI exclusive configuration TDP provides several preset profiles, and there are different TDP settings to choose from in BIOS. This allows users not to worry and do not want to manually modify the settings, this is just an one-time configuration. The configuration of the TDP function will apply to all MSI X670 and B650 chipset motherboards.
