When users use biking or walking navigation on Amap App at night to plan their route, Gao de will intelligently identify the street light coverage in the road section, distinguish the location of the unlit road section, and timely remind the user that "some road sections do not have street lights" and need to pay attention to safety when traveling at night; at the same time, Gao de will also try to plan a safer route with more street lights for users according to the actual situation.

CTOnews.com learned that Gaode has officially launched street light navigation in 15 cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Chongqing, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Suzhou, Tianjin, Qingdao and Foshan.

The path hint function is also for cyclists or pedestrians. If there are narrow alleys in the planned route, or dirt roads with poor road conditions, Gaud will intelligently prompt users of the specific conditions of these paths; for users who do not want to pass through these path sections (especially at night), Gaud will also try to plan "avoid the path" routes for users according to the actual route situation. Up to now, the Gaode Trail hint has been launched nationwide.
