CTOnews.com reported that Toyota sold 1,940,600 new vehicles in China in 2022, down 0.2% from the previous year. It was the first year-on-year decline since 2012. Toyota fell 19.8 percent year-on-year in December, the second straight month of declines.

For GAC Toyota, in 2022, it produced 1,009,265 vehicles accumulatively, with a year-on-year growth of 22.6%, and sold 1,005,000 vehicles accumulatively, with a year-on-year growth of 21.4%. FAW Toyota produced 832,201 vehicles in 2022.
