CTOnews.com, January 16, according to the official news of the China Academy of Information and Communication, the inaugural meeting of the Advanced Computing Industry Development Alliance (ACIA) was held online on January 13, under the guidance of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and sponsored by the China Academy of Information and Communications (CICT). The convening of this conference marks the formal establishment of the ACIA Alliance.

The China Academy of Information and Communication said that this time, more than 50 key enterprises, universities, scientific research institutes, and other key enterprises in the field of advanced computing inside and outside the United Nations have jointly launched an alliance to organize various working groups to clarify their work objectives and refine their key work. we will promote the healthy and orderly development of ecology, continue to deepen the construction of the alliance in the ecology, standard evaluation, application and promotion of advanced computing technology, and constantly enhance the influence of the alliance. Open the communication bridge between the industry and the government, and actively put forward opinions and suggestions on the development of advanced computing industry to the government.

At the meeting, Xu Zhiyuan, Deputy Chief engineer of China Information and Communication Institute and Secretary General of ACIA, issued the articles of association, organizational structure and work plan. The alliance is composed of the General Assembly, the Council, the Secretariat and eight working groups, namely, the Technology Ecology Group, the Standard Evaluation Group, the Application and Promotion Group, the Intelligent Computing Group, the data Computing Group, the ubiquitous Computing Group, the Security Computing Group and the Green Computing Group.

CTOnews.com learned that in 2023, the Advanced Computing Industry Development Alliance plans to release "2023 White Paper on Advanced Computing Technology Development" and "2023 Advanced Computing Application Innovation White Paper" and other research results, hold the first national advanced computing technology innovation competition, organize advanced computing application case collection and promotion activities, and promote testing and standards related work.
