CTOnews.com January 16 news, foreign science and technology-related recruitment platform CodinGame and CoderPad on January 10 after a survey of 14000 professional developers, released "2023 science and technology recruitment status" report. According to the report, corporate recruiters are looking for JavaScript, Java, and Python skills.

Among development frameworks, Node.js, React, and. NET Core proved to be the most mainstream and popular. Angular is in short supply and its popularity among developers has declined, the survey found.

Despite the volatility of the tech industry, developers feel secure in their jobs. A third of respondents said they felt more secure than last year, and 41 percent said there had been no significant change.

The top three skills developers want to learn are web development, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and game development.

The main challenges developers face at work include unplanned plan changes, unclear direction, and lack of technical knowledge among team members.

59% of developers do not have a college degree in computer science. Nearly a third consider themselves primarily self-taught.

Most teams are now a mix of telecommuting and corporate work. Only 15% of people spend 100% of their time working for companies.

The work of freelance developers is becoming increasingly popular.
