A total of 412000 trademark review cases were heard. Received 5827 applications for international registration of Madrid trademarks submitted by domestic applicants. By the end of 2022, the number of valid trademarks registered in China is 42.672 million.

In terms of geographical indications, five geographical indication products were approved in the whole year. 514 geographical indications were approved to be registered as collective trademarks and certification trademarks. 6373 market entities have been approved for the use of special geographical indications. By the end of 2022, a total of 2495 geographical indication products had been approved and 7076 geographical indications had been registered as collective trademarks and certification trademarks.
