CTOnews.com January 16, Samsung subsidiary Harman International (HARMAN International) announced this week that it has reached a partnership with Italian supercar brand Ferrari on Ready Upgrade technology.

Harman International said that it will cooperate deeply with Ferrari in many aspects to bring the Ready Upgrade hardware and software in-car experience to the latter. Ready Upgrade will allow Ferrari customers to update and personalize features and services more flexibly like smartphones.

CTOnews.com small class: Harman International's Ready Upgrade provides comprehensive software and hardware support to achieve frequent and efficient in-car interface updates. Its aim is to give vehicles a longer life cycle and shorten the development cycle of automakers.

In addition to achieving an upgradable in-car experience for Ferrari's road vehicles, Harman also announced that it is now a partner in the in-car experience team of Ferrari (Scuderia Ferrari).

Starting from the 2023 season, Harman will be the exclusive in-car experience partner for Ferrari's Formula one team. But at present, the two companies did not elaborate on the extent of this cooperation. It is not clear whether Harman Motor is a sponsor or what technology the company will provide.
