In some cases, placing modular wires / connectors on the side of the power supply can alleviate such problems. Therefore, this kind of power supply will make the whole system more tidy and organized.

When installed in a typical middle tower chassis, the Corsair RMx Shift PSU can point all its modular wires to the right panel of the chassis, where the user usually hides the wiring (the back of the motherboard), but there is usually not much space between the motherboard and the right panel of the chassis, so this power supply is expected to use a right-angle structure and should also need to be used with the Type 5 Gen 1 micro-fit modular Cables wire just launched by the pirate ship.

The series will include three models, the RM1200x Shift,1000W RM1000x Shift and RM850x Shift, with rated power of 1200W, 1000W and 850W. CTOnews.com found that these power supplies have passed Intel ATX 3.0 certification and 80PLUS Gold certification, but the specific specifications are unknown.
