CTOnews.com, January 14, Sabrent released a Rocket M.2 2230 solid state drive at the end of last year, with optional 1TB capacity, suitable for Steam Deck, Microsoft Surface and some ultrabook upgrades. The SSD is now available on Amazon, and the 1TB costs $160 (currently about 1075 yuan).

CTOnews.com learned that Sabrent Rocket 2230 uses a single-sided design, equipped with the brand-new E21T SSD master and Meguiar 176layer TLC NAND, and uses PCIe 2230 interface, up to 5GB / s.

In terms of capacity, Sabrent Rocket 2230 SSD offers three models: 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, and the TBW is 200TB, 300TB and 600TB, respectively.

According to official data, Sabrent Rocket 2230 SSD 256GB models have sequential read and write speeds of 4650 MB/s and 1900 MB/s;512GB models of 5000 MB/s and 3700 MB/s;1TB versions of 4750 MB/s and 4300 MB/s, respectively. In terms of random performance, 256GB SSD has 220000 IOPS read and 470000 IOPS write speeds, compared with 440000 IOPS and 920000 IOPS for 512GB SSD, and 450000 IOPS and 545000 IOPS for 1TB versions.
