CTOnews.com, January 14 (Xinhua)-- HBO's "the Last Survivor" (The Last of Us), adapted from a 2013 game of the same name, stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsay as Ellie.

The TV series "the Last Survivor", co-produced by Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions and Naughty Dog (a game developer of the same name) and filmed in Alberta, Canada, is considered to be the largest television production in Canadian history.

CTOnews.com learned that there are nine episodes in the first season, and the first episode, called "When You're Lost in the Darkness" (when you are lost in the dark), will premiere on January 15.
