CTOnews.com, January 14 (Xinhua)-- Apple bought the rights to the country music competition variety show "My Kind of Country" in 2020, and the company announced today that the variety show will be premiered on Apple's Apple TV+ platform on March 24.

Apple said on Friday that the country music talent show, produced by Reece Witherspoon Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine, was "groundbreaking in the search for unconventional and extraordinary country music talent around the world" and "completely changed the type of music competition with a fresh and new documentary feel".

CTOnews.com learned that the country music judges included CMA New Artist of the year Jimmie Allen in 2021, four-time Grammy nominee Mickey Guyton and acclaimed composer and country recording artist and activist Orville Peck.

The producers of the variety show include Witherspoon, Kacey Musgraves, Pick Ibarra, Katy Mullan and so on. Emmy-winning Adam Blackstone Tong served as music director.
