Tesla Model Y sold 315314 vehicles on Chinese mainland last year, making it the highest-selling premium SUV, foreign media reported. The high-end SUV referred to by foreign media is a SUV model with a price of 300000 yuan or more.

According to agency data, the second-highest-selling premium SUV in the Chinese mainland market last year was the Mercedes-Benz GLC, with 148797 vehicles, less than half that of Tesla's Model Y.

Other high-end SUV sales in the Chinese mainland market are Audi Q5, which sells 145778 vehicles, and BMW X3, which sells 140991 vehicles.

It is worth noting that foreign media reported that after experiencing challenges in December last year, Tesla has adopted a more active strategy to boost the sales of domestic Model 3 and Model Y, including sharp price cuts, which will make related models more competitive.
