Porsche delivered 309884 cars to consumers in 2022, up 3 per cent from a year earlier, according to data released on its website on Thursday local time.

Judging from the news released by Porsche, their small increase in delivery in 2022 is due to an increase in delivery in Europe, coupled with roughly flat or only a slight decline in delivery in other major markets.

Specific to the European market, Porsche released data showing that they delivered 62685 vehicles, an increase of 7 per cent year-on-year, of which the German market delivered 29512 vehicles, up 3 per cent from a year earlier.

In terms of models, SUV models still account for a considerable proportion, with Cayenne delivering 95604 vehicles for the whole year, followed by Macan with 86724 vehicles. Porsche 911 delivered 40410 vehicles, an increase of 5% year-on-year. Panamera delivered 34142 vehicles, an increase of 13%.

But unlike the decline in BMW's overall sales and the doubling of electric vehicle sales compared with the same period last year, the overall delivery volume of Porsche, which has increased, has not increased. Porsche released data showing that its only electric car model, the Taycan, delivered 34801 vehicles last year, down 16% from a year earlier.
