CTOnews.com, January 13, LG recently announced that four 86-inch TVs have been recalled in the North American market due to the unstable TV bracket. LG said it had received 12 reports so far that the TV fell due to the unstable brackets, but no one was injured in the report.

CTOnews.com inquired about the LG recall page, and LG said that the televisions weighed more than 100lbs and that the TV brackets could not provide stable support during daily use, which the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said was enough to cause "injuries or deaths to children or other people."

The recalled televisions, calculated from March 2022 to September 2022, are sold through Wal-Mart, Best Buy, offline and online Costco and Amazon, with prices ranging from $1100 (about 7414 yuan) to $1900 (about 12806 yuan). Most of the affected televisions (about 52000) are sold in the United States, but some are also sold in Mexico (2900) and Canada (1800).

For now, CSPC said, owners of the affected televisions have been advised to immediately remove the connected legs and place the televisions in a safe location away from children. However, if you have installed the TV on the wall, you do not need to take any action at this time.

The four models are 86UQ8000AUB, 86UQ7070ZUD, 86UQ7590PUD and 86NANO75UQA.

The accompanying serial number begins with 202RM, 203RM, 204RM, 205RM, 206RM, 207RM or 208RM
