CTOnews.com, January 13, Samsung has confirmed that it will soon introduce new software updates for Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. This update will enable these devices to enhance the camera and audio experience of Galaxy phones.

With this update, Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will support 360-degree audio recording, adding immersive sound to video content captured on Galaxy phones. In addition, the camera controller on the Galaxy Watch will get new functionality.

The 360-degree audio recording feature captures the sound in the video, just like what you hear in real life. This means that high-quality, realistic audio can now be recorded without expensive professional equipment.

This function is achieved by picking up 360-degree sound from the microphone in each headset. Playing video on devices that support 360-degree audio, such as Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, will provide users with an immersive and realistic experience.

360-degree audio recording is the first feature in the Galaxy series to use the Bluetooth LE audio standard. Binaural recording can also be achieved on the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro by using both left and right microphones. This feature can be enabled when the headset of a Galaxy Buds 2 Pro user is paired with a Galaxy phone that runs One UI version 5.0or later and supports LE audio. In addition to the upcoming Samsung phones, it is also compatible with Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 devices.

CTOnews.com learned that the Galaxy Watch camera controller application allows users to control the device's camera through the wrist. Samsung is releasing updates for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 to bring zoom control to camera controller applications.

Users can remotely control the zoom of the phone's camera through their wrists. You can pinch the dial or rotate the bezel to zoom in or out. This will make it easier to take photos or selfies over long distances.

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro software update, which enables 360-degree audio recording, will be rolled out gradually starting today. The camera zoom control feature will be released for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 series in February.
